Forum: “Restorative Justice in Athens-Clarke County”

The ACC Federation of Neighborhoods will host a forum on Restorative Justice on August 14th at 7pm at Cine.
The forum will host Matt Fayoyin, Restorative Justice Specialist in the Clarke County schools; Danny Malec, Executive Director, Georgia Conflict Center; Amber Robinson, Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney, Juvenile & Restorative Justice Unit and David R. Sweat, Senior Superior Court Judge; and will discuss the implementation and opportunities within our schools and criminal justice system.
The forum will also provide an opportunity for community members to share their thoughts and ideas on this alternative approach to justice that focuses on rehabilitating offenders by ensuring that the offenders take accountability for their actions and through reconciliation with their victims and their community
