What are some of the key services that provide citizens in Athens-Clarke County with important support? Find out at the Federation of Neighborhoods January forum on selected local government services. Panelists will describe, and take questions on, their respective departments regarding new developments and future plans. Hear about how local government is working to support healthy, productive and safe living environments in our community and local economy. Among the topics will be air transportation; regulation of construction; animal welfare and related activities; management of landscapes; solid waste and recycling mechanisms; and prison employment and rehabilitation programs. This forum is a follow up to the forum Neighborhood Living 101 held last February.

Join us for this free public forum on Monday, January 14 from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at Cine.

Forum Panelists will include the following ACC staff:
Mike Mathews, Airport Director
Suki Janssen, Solid Waste Director
Doug Hansford, Building Inspections and Code Enforcement Director
