The Federation of Neighborhoods presents “Learn About the New ACC Inclusion Office” a free public forum on Monday, January 13 from 7:30-9:00pm in Ciné Lab Space. Mayor Kelly Girtz and ACC Inclusion Officer Krystle Cobran will share the plans and goals for this new division of the Manager’s Office.

The Inclusion Office works with all Athens-Clarke County departments and offices, but specifically provide strategic collaborations with Leisure Services for youth, Police for safety, Human Resources for recruitment, Finance for procurement, Organizational Development for training, Housing and Community Development for housing, and Economic Development for prosperity. The office focuses efforts on areas including race, color, national origin, religious beliefs, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, and disabilities.

All residents of the Athens area are encouraged to attend this free forum held at Cine, located at 234 West Hancock Ave – call Cine at 706-353-3343 for directions. Refreshments are available at the Cine Bar-Cafe.

The Athens Area Chamber of Commerce is underwriting the cost of this forum and providing free parking to FoN forum attendees in their lot immediately adjacent to Cine.
